Assistant Cook (International Cruises Liner)

Jobs Responsibilities:- Prepare dishes at an advanced level, in line with company recipes, menus and procedures; taste dishes as per the various menus onboard and make taste adjustments to dishes, when applicable.- Prepare food items as per recipes and instructions received from the relevant Supervisor, requiring minimum supervision; have an in-depth understanding of the Ship's Safety Procedures & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).- Ensure economical work practices and control food production to minimize and/or avoid wastage.- Ensure that food preparations/storage are in line with all PublicJobs Requirements:- At least 1-2 years of experience in western restaurants in 4 or 5 star hotel or fine dining stand alone restaurants.- Ability to speak English.- ONLY Malaysian eligible to apply.**Job Type**: ContractContract length: 8 months**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Rotational shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime payAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Experience**:- western cuisine: 2 years (preferred)Willingness to travel:- 100% (preferred)
