Assistant Development Manager

Role & Responsibilities Understanding the competitive residential market (local and foreign) (e.g. review and undertake residential market study with external consultants and Lendlease internal research) Ability to draw data and information from a broad range of sources Ability to understand financial modelling and have intermediate MS Excel knowledge Able to understand the design and planning issues surrounding the project and how to work with the consultants and authorities to meet project objectives Able to understand design and construction technical matters, and how to work with consultants and construction team to achieve resolution within Project development objectives, time and budget Assist the Senior Development Manager/ Development Director on the preparation of Development Brief for the Project that meet expectations of thecommercial assessment to support Lendlease as an industry leader in placemaking and integrated developments Assist the Senior Development Manager/ Development Director all aspects of the design process including reviewing drawings, specifications, developed design, prototypes and samples to ensure consistency and check for end user functionality in compliance with best practice industry standards Assist Senior Development Manager/ Development Director on stakeholder reporting. Reporting requirements include: Regional & Global Investment Committee Meetings Investment Proposal Project Control Group Business Reviews Any other ad-hoc reports Assist Senior Development Manager/ Development Director on the managementof the construction contracts, variation approval recommendations to theDevelopment Director where required and cost control within the approvedbudgets Assist Senior Development Manager/ Development Director on the liaison withthe Independent Quantity Surveyor (IQS) on the review and assess payment ofinvoices from contractors, consultants and suppliers Preferred experience Property Research and Project Feasibility Studies Project Commercial/ Finance and Budget Management Project Design & Consultant Management Technical skills relevant to the construction and property industry Lendlease is committed to being a diverse and inclusive employer of choice by engaging, enabling and empowering our people.
