Acts as guide to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.**Responsibilities**Management- Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors- Ensures the team is caring out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing, as expected- Manages personnel details including salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and development- Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenanceProject / Infrastructure Site Management- Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data centers- Develops and manages routine operational plans- Meets targets typically against a monthly plan- Provides input and guidance towards budget- Overall site capacity supervisionVendor Management- Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standardsTesting- Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problemsIncident Management- Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident**Qualifications**- Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience (5+)- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
