Our deep integration with Airasia's network and infrastructure puts us in a unique position to achieve what sounds impossible, and we need you to bring this to a reality.We are looking for an Assistant Manager to manage the regional government relation and licensing portfolio and this individual will work with government agencies, local & international authorities, internal and external stakeholders. You will be based in Sepang, Malaysia and report directly to the Senior Manager, Trade and International Custom Compliance.SALARY RANGE : RM5,760 - RM8,640A DAY IN A LIFEAs a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:Key job functionsExercise oversight of licenses and authorizations; including application, renewal, usage, record keeping, and general administrationIdentify and assess licensing requirements at local, regional, and international levels where the company operatesCollaborate with cross-functional team to clarify requirements, interpret results and ensure due diligence requirements are metIdentify and assess potential risks associated with licensing and regulatory compliance.Responsible for building and nurturing relationships with relevant governments stakeholdersUnderstanding and familiarity with the regulatory and public policy within the industryLiaise and coordinate with local authorities/agencies to resolve any incidents /risk issuesWork with the business teams, develop strategic action plans and initiatives to achieve company' business goalsSKILLSThese are minimum-requirement skills and a 'must-have' for the role:Direct experience with customs and trade compliances in China/ASEAN regionExperience in handling import / export in China/ASEAN RegionExperience or having right network in liaising with countries authorities pertaining to local legal requirements to setup business particular on licensing mattersPossess analytical and strategic thinking abilities with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEMultilingual preferable, best fluent in English, Malay/Indonesian, Mandarin proficiency preferable but not compulsoryRegulatory legal or technical experience in business setup at overseasPreferable with international custom knowledge but not mustDegree in field related (international business or equivalent) Min 5 years working experience directly related to fieldBENEFITSWork-Life at #TeamTeleportHot desks - On site work with flexible workspace arrangement and provide you with a change of scenery maybe in a quiet area.Unlimited training -You will have access to a wide range of learning resources including Notion!Ditch the Suit & Tie - Be comfortable as you are, express your inner Fashionista… as long as it's not a birthday suit!Vacation and time away - Sometimes you need to recharge and come back energized!
