Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team in Malaysia. As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Audit Manager and contributing to the success of our audit department.Key Responsibilities:Audit Planning and Preparation:Collaborate with the Audit Manager to develop comprehensive audit plans and strategies.Assist in defining the scope, objectives, and audit approach for each engagement.Participate in risk assessment and planning activities.Audit Execution and Supervision:Lead and oversee audit fieldwork, ensuring compliance with audit standards and best practices.Review the work performed by audit staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed.Conduct substantive testing, analytical reviews, and assessments of internal controls.Client Interaction:Foster positive and professional relationships with clients during audit engagements.Assist in communicating audit findings, recommendations, and potential issues to clients.Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure that audit procedures adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.Assist in the preparation of audit reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and conclusions.Collaborate with the Audit Manager to present audit results to clients and senior management.Staff Development and Training:Mentor and provide guidance to junior audit staff, supporting their professional growth.Assist in organizing training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities within the audit team.Promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct.Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualification or certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is advantageous.A minimum of 4 years of audit experience in a reputable accounting firm or relevant industry.Profound knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in audit software and financial analysis tools.A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM5,999.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to Friday**Experience**:- Corporate tax: 4 years (preferred)- Audit : 4 years (required)
