Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer, you will work closely across different parts of IT, process and internal systems. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise on automation projects which includes crafting and maintaining automation frameworks. Develop solutions with best practices and Dev Ops mind set from architectural design to orchestrating every technical stack in the system design.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•As part of the Automation team, constant duties will revolve collaborating between cross-functional IT squad to business units.
•The daily task will involve
?Producing analytics based on heterogonous datasets and sources.
?Design, build and orchestrate automation solutions.
?Develop and writing scripts, streamlining the process, and working closely with stakeholders to produce a solution (ad-hoc/Project-based)
?Use Statistical and ML techniques to produce strategic deep-dive and contribute to data-driven decision making
Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
•2 - 4 Years of software development experience (full-stack) or data analytics
•Experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions in the analytics space
•Excellent proficiency in SQL/NoSQL
•Excellent scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Python/JS/PHP)
•Experienced working with BI reporting tools such as Pyramid BI, Tableau, Power BI, etc
•Good exposure working with Cloud-based applications and Infrastructure
•Understand the concept of full-stack development/ DevOps
•Good competence with an Agile Development approach
Education/Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine learning or related field required, postgrad will be a plus
