Bahasa Editor Executive

Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage online content in English- Be updated with the latest and trending financial, business, and corporate news locally and internationally- Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audience's preferences- Oversee layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors- Proofread, edit and improve stories or pieces related to finance and business- Content planning of magazines/e-magazines, social media postings, and newsletters- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it- Strategize and explore new initiatives to further grow our audience and improve engagement through content- Collaborate with designers, marketing and sales team, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience- Attend physical and online media events whenever required- Comply with media law and ethical guidelines- Meet deadlines and budget requirements- Perform ad hoc writing/copywriting tasks whenever required**Requirements**:- Must have excellent English writing and speaking skills- Degree level or equivalent education (BA in English, Journalism, Mass Communication or equivalent)- Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills and have an excellent portfolio- Good analytical skills, ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work independently or with little supervision- Knowledge of SEO, social media, Google Analytics, and WordPress would be a plus- 1 or 2 years of experience in either editor, journalism, digital media, content writing, or content marketing roles (preferred, not essential)**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM3,200.00 - RM4,100.00 per monthSchedule:- Day shift- Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:- Performance bonus
