Baker

**Responsibility**:- Responsible for producing various types of bread and pastry.- Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.- Designing and improving recipes to ensure products are up to the highest standard of the industry.- Ensure that the right type and quantity of ingredients are acquired by following bread baking recipes to measure ingredients.- Decorating and displaying finished products.- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.- Keeping records relating to inventory and production levels.- Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.- Pack and label cooled bread with information such as type and expiry date.- Perform preventative maintenance on ovens on a regular basis.- Able to work on shift rotation basis including weekend and Public Holiday- Other duties as the job require it.- Supervising and training staff members, when needed.**Requirement**:- Highly motivated individuals & passion for baking.- Pastry and baking experience, knowledge of bakery techniques, bakery food items, bakery food preparation, presentation and preservation and bakery equipment.- Preferable possess certificate or Diploma in baking or related field.- Ability to follow recipes and production schedules.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Performance bonus- Yearly bonusExpected Start Date: 05/02/2024
