Building Manager (Property Management)

Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the high-rise buildings. Coordinate and oversee repair, maintenance, and other operational services. Supervise all staff within the building including maintenance, security, janitorial staff, and any contracted workers. Liaise with property owners and tenants to handle inquiries, issues, and enforcement of strata by-laws. Coordinate with the Strata Management Committee on necessary reports, budgets, expenditures, and capital improvement projects. Plan, schedule, and manage routine maintenance activities and special projects. Ensure all safety protocols, emergency procedures, and building regulations are adhered to strictly. Implement and maintain an efficient system for handling residents' requests and complaints. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve issues. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. Monitor expenditures to ensure operations remain within budget. Attend and participate in meetings with the Strata Management Committee and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all local and national laws relating to property management.
