You will join our Environmental and Health Business Unit
We invite you to bring your business operations excellence into play as you contribute to assist the Managing Principal to monitor our office’s functions and build processes that meet our business needs. Your role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where you will support a diverse Environmental and Health (E&H) team on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors in Asia.
As our new Business Operations Manager, you will work cross-functionally to align teams, steer projects, and execute initiatives and improve processes. Your key responsibility is to proactively help the Managing Principal to run the office efficiently and effectively to ensure business operations targets are met. To be our successful Business Operations Manager, you should have combined experience of Environmental and Health consultancy and business operations. You should also be a hands-on person and able to work well with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. This is an ideal role for existing Environmental and Health Consultant who wish to transition into backend business operations role.
Client/ Contract / Key Account/Stakeholder/ Project Management
Preparing presentations for various meetings with minimum inputs from Managing Principals and in line with overall Ramboll priorities and templates.
Be involved in related business and client meetings.
Close collaboration with Consultants, Compliance and Legal team in preparing and delivering tender, contracts and procedures that meet Ramboll, Client and local regulatory requirements.
Close collaboration with marketing team on strengthen marketing practices amongst Business Units and to grow Ramboll Branding in Malaysia.
Business Operations Management
Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures.
Coordinating office events/initiatives such as Townhalls.
Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise.
Build and manage processes that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance with Group and local legislation.
Own, drive and execute Ramboll and office related initiatives such as internal tools as assigned by the Managing Principal.
Partner and assist the Support team of Ramboll including Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, and Facility Management as directed by the Managing Principal.

Min. bachelor’s degree in Business / Marketing or BSc. or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Business Operations Manager or in a similar role in Consulting industry.
Good knowledge of business operations management.
Business digital tolls savvy.
Experience with databases and Client / Project management software will be an added advantage.
English fluency and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interact well with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
Proven track record in project management and business development.
