Buyer (Raw Material Sourcing And Purchasing)

As a raw materials buyer, this role comes with the responsibility of planning, sourcing and purchasing electronic components and metals for stamping, steel wiring, and fabrication parts.You will be working in a multi-talented team of organized members to support a growing greenfield setup with clients in the Asian market.**Roles and responsibilities**:- Fully responsible for planning, sourcing and purchasing raw materials to support a growing supply chain.- Maintain strong customer relationship with abroad vendors, mainly in Taiwan and China.- Propose and prepare strategic business planning to improve existing material supply chains, and to prepare stakeholder reports.- Create, monitor and update Approved Vendor List for new and current vendors.- Alias with key company stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of supply chain processes.- Source for new vendors to support growing supply chains in Asia Pacific region.- Source and secure main markets for raw materials such as metals for stamping, steel wiring, electronic components, fabrication parts and others as needed by company production.- Proactive commodity planning and execute strategic procurement processes.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Management / Finance / Business & Accounting or related fields of study. Master's Degree holders are open to apply.- Minimum 3 to 8 years experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management / Raw Material Purchasing or equivalent roles with a focus Asia Pacific region, mainly Taiwan and Mainland China.- Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently- Good organizational skills and Service attitude.- Self-motivated worker.- Able to read, write and communicate fluently in English and Mandarin.- Demonstrable experience in supply chain management and/or raw material procurement for manufacturing industry is preferred.- Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.- Outstanding organization, coordination, and presentation skills - ability to communicate effectively with company stakeholders on strategic business planning.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Fixed shift- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Performance bonusExpected Start Date: 09/04/2023
