Cabling Technician

Install and maintain various types of cabling systems, such as Ethernet, fiber optic, coaxial, and telephone cables, within buildings or data centers.- Collaborate with network engineers and IT teams to carry out cabling infrastructure layouts, ensuring proper network connectivity and scalability.- Terminate and label cables, connectors, and wall jacks according to industry standards to ensure proper signal transmission.- Use cable testing equipment to verify the integrity and functionality of installed cabling, and troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues as they arise.- Install, organize, and maintain network equipment, including racks, cabinets, and patch panels, for neat and efficient cabling.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations to maintain high-quality cabling infrastructure.- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during cabling installations and maintenance.**Qualifications**:- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or coursework in cabling and network infrastructure is a plus.- Previous experience in cabling or network installation is beneficial.- Knowledge of cabling standards and practices.- Familiarity with cable testing tools and equipment is an advantage.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.- Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations.**Job Type**: Part-time**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per monthExpected hours: 40 - 45 per weekSchedule:- Monday to Friday- Weekend jobsAbility to commute/relocate:- Jelutong: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Expected Start Date: 11/10/2023
