Job Description Job Overview : Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, treasury management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic financial leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial performance and growth. Key Responsibilities : Financial Planning and Analysis : Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support business objectives Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management. Accounting and Financial Reporting : Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports. Treasury Management : Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investments to optimize financial resources and mitigate financial risks. Develop and implement effective treasury strategies, including working capital management, debt financing, and foreign exchange risk management. Strategic Financial Leadership Provide strategic financial guidance and advice to senior management and the Board of Directors. Collaborate with other functional leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives and achieve business objectives. Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational improvement Risk Management and Compliance : Assess financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets and interests. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and corporate governance standards. Requirements Qualifications and Experience : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MIA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role. Preferably experience in public listed company (Bursa Malaysia) Demonstrated experience leading business transformation initiatives, including restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic repositioning. Proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence through transformational change. Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
