In the years that followed, the company experienced a significant growth and was acquired by PJ Development Holdings Berhad (PJD) in 1990. The acquisition saw the expansion of the Johor factory to accommodate additional machines and the production of a wider range of cable products while a new factory in Malacca was set up in 1997. The 5 hectares (12 acres) factory aimed to increase the production capacity & capability of the power cable manufacturing operations, to produce both aluminium cables and copper cables, ranging from low to medium voltage, up to 33kV. The setting up of a new factory in Vietnam in 2007 marks the dynamic progress of OCC from its humble beginning into an international cable manufacturing company. Today, as part of the OSK Group, the company continues to improve and expand its range of products including control cables, instrumentation cables, multicore cables, oil & gas cables and others to meet the demand of the utilities, infrastructure, building & construction, oil & gas and other industries.PMR / PT3 or Equivalent
