Cobol Mainframe Developer

**Job Description Requirements**- Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)- Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.- Design program specifications aligning to COBOL/JCL coding best practices for efficient system performance- Perform Cobol/CICS program coding and testing ? JIRA/ Confluence updates- User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.- Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.- Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.Working Experience1. With working experience in Credit Card Systems.2. Must possess at least 6-9years experience in Mainframe zOS - CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVS environment3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.4. Experience in Agile project delivery and DEVOPS tools.5. Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks/ projects. Possess self-initiative and work with mínimal supervision.Good to have:1. API/JAVA knowledge/skills.2. Automation skills3. Knowledge in Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavor, Expeditor would be added advantage**Experience**:- Cobol Main frame Developer: 5 years (preferred)- credit card system: 2 years (preferred)
