Commission Analyst

Job Description The role is generally responsible for executing on the worldwide margin quotes process and ensuring accurate and timely issuing of quotes to assist sales with closing deals. The role will also assist the Commissions Team with processing and auditing commissions plans and data.
Fundamental activities of this role include determining the cost and margin on a quote at a detailed level and summarizing the information for consumption by the sales team
Secondary responsibilities include sending commissions plans in company's internal system and auditing commissions setup in IBM ICM
Partnering with the appropriate teams to create and share margin quotes
Storing and sharing quotes using tools such as Salesforce, Excel, Word, and Outlook
High level of accuracy and attention to detail; able to look outside the box to see how items coordinate or link together
Strong financial analytical ability
Strong analyst, mathematics, and technical skills
Moderate to advanced excel skills required
Salesforce, IBM ICM, or Oracle ERP (or similar) experience desired but not required
The ability to take ownership of projects and processes
Requirements
Possessing a strong work ethic with a focus on excellence and professionalism
Bachelor of Arts/Science in Finance, Accounting, Math or IT preferred
3+ years of relevant progressive analyst experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to accept ownership, responsibility, and accountability
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
Able to consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
Strong organizational skills
Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
