Job Description:
Petronas is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Content Writer to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home in George Town, Penang, MY. As an Associate Level Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content related to the oil and gas industry for our website, blog, social media platforms, and other marketing materials.
Responsibilities:1. Research, write, and edit content that aligns with Petronas' brand voice and messaging guidelines.2. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas for various campaigns and initiatives.3. Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure content is relevant and timely.5. Proofread and fact-check content to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards.6. Manage content calendars and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of all projects.7. Ensure all content is compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.2. 4 years of experience in content writing, preferably in the oil and gas industry.3. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.4. Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research tools.5. Experience with content management systems such as WordPress.6. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.7. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.8. Excellent time management and organizational skills.9. Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
