Contract Executive / Quantity Surveyor

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:- Verification of claims and certificates from contractors, suppliers, and consultants.- Prepare for monthly progress claim submission to main-con.- Monitoring payment received for progress claim.- Handling tender submission process from receive invitation tender until submission.- Verification of documentation and work done for payments.- Liaising with contractors to ensure products used are of the expected quality.- Prepare and handle all documentation for submission to management for approval.- Responsible for managing and maintaining the records in contract processes.- Obtaining quotations, liaising & negotiating with subcontractors & suppliers.- Coordinate and maintain a proper filing system for its effectiveness.- Fully in charge of organizing and maintaining proper project contract documentation and record both hard and soft copy.- Sourcing supplier and allocate costing for purchase department processing.- Liase with all related department in order to complete task given (if any).- Handling for invoicing submission.- Prepare, keep records and monitoring of maintenance contract.- Assist in quotation preparation.- Undertake other ad hoc tasks assigned by superior.**REQUIREMENT**:- At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the construction field is required for this position.- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capability to communicate with all levels of the organization- Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem- Ability to make good decisions as well as ability to accomplish multiple tasks in limited time frames.- Able to meet deadline.**BENEFITS**:- EPF, SOCSO- Medical leave, Annual leave- Yearly bonus**Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentPay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Parental leaveSchedule:- Fixed shiftSupplemental pay types:- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Johor Bahru: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- Do you have experience preparing & submitting tender?- How many years do you have in construction industry?**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Quantity Surveyor: 2 years (preferred)
