**Responsibilities**:- Design, develop, and regularly update the local, western, or international cuisine menu, ensuring a balance of innovation and classic flavors.- Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standards.- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food quality and presentation meet hotel standards.- Mentor, train, and guide the kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and continuous learning.- Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.- Ensure adherence to food hygiene and workplace safety standards in line with local regulations and international best practices.- Ensure all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.- Work closely with the restaurant management team to align on daily task, promotions, events, and guest experiences.**Requirements**:- Has Hotel experience been the added advantage.- High school or Culinary school diploma or relevant proven 2 -3 years' experience as a cook.- Have extensive knowledge of local, western food and kitchen equipment.- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.- Possess strong skill sets related to hygiene policies to ensure all food preparation is done in a safe manner.- Has a pleasant and outgoing personality- Prefer Malaysian.- Male/ Female are encouraged to apply.**Benefits**:- EPF- SOCSO- Annual Leave- Allowance**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per monthSchedule:- Day shift- Early shift**Experience**:- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)Ability to Commute:- Kuala Lumpur (required)Ability to Relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Relocate before starting work (required)
