Collaborate with internal departments to gather and compile cost information. Participate in budgeting processes, offering insights to optimise costs and improve profitability. Recommend cost-saving initiatives and support their implementation across various departments. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments that can affect pricing and budgets. Skills and Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role. Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles, specifically in cost accounting. Experience with accounting software and databases, as well as MS Excel. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for reporting and collaborating effectively across departments. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in accounting processes. Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or similar qualification is a plus. Position Location: The role is open for candidates in our London office, with opportunities for remote work and occasional travel to our manufacturing sites as needed.
