Job DescriptionData Specialist core responsibility is to analyze data and evaluate global events flagged for review by established HIT risk strategies, with the purpose of identifying and mitigating fraud attacks on e-commerce businesses and customers.The person in this role will contribute to the strategic development of the broader team through his or her insights and ad hoc investigations. The Data Specialist is expected to adhere to numerous platform-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure decisions are made, balancing factors such as risk tolerance and customer experience.**Job Requirement**:- Minimum Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering/Science, Electronics Engineering or relateddisciplines.- Experience in IT, security or systems support, or network administrator positions would beadded advantage.- Require the ability to focus for long periods, work consistently paying attention to the finestdetails, and spending the workday using a computer platform.- Fluent English in speaking and writing, command of other languages preferred.- Flexible with global hours during training period and able to attend monthly night calls toalign with global team initiatives.- Comfortable working with colleagues across different teams, time zone and cultures.- Work individually to meet the daily and monthly target productivity independently.- Support HIT team in various initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.- Able to handle technical queries on own with mínimal supervision.- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.- Malaysia time zone but training will be in Mexico time zone for 2-4 weeks.
