The primary focus of this role is on editing and refining digital content to ensure it meets our high editorial standards, resonates with our target audience, and aligns with our mission of supporting and empowering parents.**Responsibilities**:Editing:- Edit and proofread articles, blog posts, and other digital content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the company's editorial guidelines.- Provide constructive feedback to writers on content improvement and adherence to the company's tone and style.Quality Assurance:- Conduct thorough reviews of all digital content to maintain a high standard of quality and consistency.- Collaborate with writers to address any content-related issues and ensure all material aligns with the company's editorial strategy.Content Optimization:- Collaborate with writers to enhance headlines, meta descriptions, and other elements for improved user engagement.Style Guide Adherence:- Ensure that all content aligns with the company's established style guide, maintaining a consistent and recognizable brand voice.- Develop and update editorial guidelines as needed to reflect industry trends and audience preferences.Collaboration:- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of edited content into our digital platforms.- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for new and engaging parenting content.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Digital Content Editor, preferably with a focus on parenting content.- Strong editing, proofreading, and content optimization skills.- In-depth knowledge of parenting topics, child development, and family dynamics.- Familiarity with content management systems.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Parental leaveSchedule:- Monday to Friday**Experience**:- Writing skills: 3 years (preferred)
