Responsibilities:Policy Development and Analysis:·Lead the formulation and review of competition policies and guidelines, aligning them with domestic and international best practices.·Conduct in-depth analysis of regulatory frameworks and economic trends to identify areas for policy enhancement.·Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and implementation of competition policies.Strategic Planning:·Develop and implement strategic plans to promote fair competition and enhance market efficiency.·Conduct comprehensive research to identify key competition issues and develop strategic recommendations.·Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management.International Affairs:·Represent the organization in international forums, conferences, and working groups, advocating for fair competition practices.·Establish and maintain partnerships with international competition authorities and regulatory bodies.·Stay abreast of global competition trends and advancements in competition law and policy.Stakeholder Engagement:·Engage with industry representatives, consumer groups, and government agencies to gather insights and ensure their perspectives are considered in strategic planning.·Negotiate relevant agreements with external parties to further organizational objectives.·Coordinate participation in international events, including conferences and training programs.Secretariat for Commission Meetings:·Efficiently organize and coordinate commission meetings, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up on decisions and action items.·Act as a liaison between commission members and employees, facilitating communication and collaboration.Communication and Advocacy:·Lead the development and implementation of communication plans and advocacy activities for the organization.·Oversee media relations and public affairs engagement to enhance visibility and impact.·Manage communication content and stakeholder engagement initiatives.Parliamentary Affairs:·Oversee all parliamentary matters related to the organization, including responses to inquiries and briefings for government officials.·Ensure effective management of parliamentary inquiries and maintain comprehensive briefings for relevant stakeholders.Qualifications and Requirements:·Bachelor's degree in law, economics, public policy, political science, or a related field.·Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic planning or related fields, preferably in a regulatory authority or international organization.·Extensive knowledge of competition law and policy, both domestically and internationally.·Strong analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.·Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building relationships and fostering collaboration.·Fluency in English and Malay, with proficiency in a third language preferred.·Commitment to organizational goals, integrity, and professionalism Sub Specialization : Others;Any Type of Employment : Permanent Minimum Experience : 15 Years Work Location : Kuala Lumpur Salary Range : Up to RM13,141 Per month If you encounter difficulties, please click here for technical assistance.
