In the position you also provide support the sustainability and environmental compliance of the factory processes. In this role, you will be a member of the site management team and have overall responsibility of EHS in the factory and assembly center.Your primary areas of responsibility. Do we share the same mission?- Responsible for establishing and developing Seremban factory EHS policies and activities- Manage EHS risk management and continuous development and the functionality of reporting systems- Act as occupational health and safety manager at the Seremban factory, as well as the company's representative in work groups related to safety and other EHS areas- One of your main tasks is promoting and renewing the Safety-first culture- In addition, you initiate safety-related development projects at the Seremban factory in cooperation with other Sandvik production units and global EHS organization- You cooperate with both internal and external partners such as production, warehouse, logistics and health care providers and local authorities- Support on sustainability related planning and actions- Implement the requirements of sustainable development in production processes by reducing emissionsYour background and what we find important- Several years of experience on EHS area- You have previous experience in leading and managing work safety and related measures- You are used to run projects and have track record of implementing change successfully- You have a suitable master's or bachelors' degree in relevant area- Risk management, knowledge of ISO management system standards and experience as a trainer is a big advantage- Green book holder is mandatoryYour personality is important to us!- You have enthusiasm and a positive approach to the development of safety activities, and Safety-First thinking comes naturally to you- You have proven record of various interaction and negotiation situations- You are capable of leading and motivating your own personnel and cooperation networks- Your work style is coaching and approachable, you handle tasks independently and in a team- We operate both locally and globally, so communicating fluently in English is mandatoryWant to join our team?Our companySandvik is a global, high-tech engineering group providing solutions that enhance productivity, profitability and sustainability for the manufacturing, mining and infrastructure industries.
