Electrical Day Technician

Responsibilities:1. Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards2. Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)3. Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary4. Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality5. Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed6. Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)7. Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide8. Conduct general upkeep procedures ( landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)Qualification and/or experience required:1. Proven experience as maintenance technician2. Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems3. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods4. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices5. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills6. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime7.
