Electrical Technician

Function Management- Responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance operations.- Ensure preventive maintenance in the field of electrics by scheduling and coordinating operations with the open pit, treatment and maintenance foremen.- Issue work orders to carry out fault clearance.- Ensure development of proposals to improve facilities and increase plant availability.- Responsible for material planning and usage.- Jointly responsible for the correct execution of the maintenance work in accordance with the relevant electrical regulations (laws, ordinances, standards, etc.).- Contribute to the new or changed facilities and the training of new subordinates.- Check and ensure the availability of the tools, measuring and testing equipment in use.- Regularly communicate interdepartmentally, in written and / or verbal form, on the status of jobs, projected completion time, and need for assistance.- Act as a technical resource to field personnel and plant maintenance and actively engage in field issues.- May be responsible for Emergency Service.- Responsible for high-voltage switching authorization.- Preferable Electrical background with AO ChargemanQuality, Safety, Health and Environment- Inspect work areas on a continuous basis for possible electrical problems or unusual conditions.
