The ELC Europe Specialist is responsible for providing advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to the ELC team and to the stakeholders such as Plant Manager, HRBPs, Site Administrators, etc. They will also be responsible for managing complex cases, supporting the implementation of new processes and initiatives, and ensuring quality and assurance across all activities.Key responsibilities Collaborate with Tier 1 and cross-functional teams to streamline and optimize employee life cycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding. Stay abreast of employment laws and regulations across Mainland Europe, ensuring HR processes align with legal requirements and industry best practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, leveraging HR systems to manage employee information efficiently. Support the development and implementation of comprehensive onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and positive experience for new hires. Address Tier 2 escalations related to employee life cycle processes, providing timely resolutions and excellent customer service. Work closely with local HR Advisors, Rewards, HRBPs, and other HR functions to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to employee life cycle management. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. Qualifications and skills Efficient use of MS office and other key business tools; PowerPoint for effective presentation of data including graphs and charts. Word to produce mail merges, letters, contracts etc. Outlook to apply rules and manage folders, scheduling and diaries, build standardised templates and manage processes Excel including Fx functions, Pivots, charts, data analysis and presentation into day to day work. Visio to create and maintain process documentation Sharepoint to upload shared materials and share and engage with projects and other functions PowerBI to analyse and report on KPIs and performance SAP / Concur to process POs, invoices, financial transactions.
