Engineer (Maintenance)

Job Description:
• Review current, continually improvise and implement standard operating work procedures and instructions for plant startup, normal operations and troubleshooting,
planned and emergency shutdown, and including plant equipment & utilities operations and maintenance
• Troubleshooting plant issues and providing instructions and guidance to maintenance technicians to resolution on required basis and by consulting the plant manager
• Supervise teams on daily basis to enhance and achieve reliable plant operations
• Responsible for general repair, maintenance and upkeep of the batching plant
• Carry out preventive maintenance of plant equipments and perform repairs on broken-down equipments
• Perform hands-on mechanical repair work as welding and gas cutting
• Trouble-shooting and rectifying problems of the machines and equipments on a daily basis
• Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Able to work independently with positive attitude under tight schedules
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• A team player with strong contract writing abilities and able to multi-task
• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent. Qualification in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a Ready-mix plant / construction company will be added advantage
