English Teacher

**Responsibilities**:- Implement language instructional programmes and prepare lessons that are able to accommodate varying students' abilities and learning styles.- Plan and use appropriate interventions, learning strategies and materials for 'pull-out' situations and intensive English programmes, including collaboration with regular classroom teachers.- Assess and monitor student progress and communicate with parents and classroom teachers accordingly.- Support the development of curriculum, lessons, activities and rubrics that address students' needs.- Research, evaluate, and propose recommendations on curricula, instructional methods, assessments, technology, and materials for students that include native language, English Language Development (ELD), and English as Second Language (ESL).- Support the development of performance assessments designed to assess English learners' language and literacy skills.- Support the vetting of instructional and intervention materials for ESL students.- Create common tools and resources that demonstrate effective literacy practices for ESL students.- Provide home learning opportunities as appropriate.- Support the implementation of curriculum and instructional strategies that create a clear pathway for the success of English learners.**Requirements**:- Certificate in teaching (Diploma or PGD Education/PGC Education).- Previous language teaching experience, preferably ESL.- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.We thank all applicants for expressing their interest in this vacancy.
