Job SummaryKey Responsibilities- **Environmental Compliance**: Ensure the organization's operations comply with environmental laws, regulations, and standards at local, state, and federal levels.- **Environmental Assessments**: Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and audits to identify and address environmental risks and issues.- **Sustainability Initiatives**: Develop and implement sustainability programs to reduce the organization's environmental footprint, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation.- **Regulatory Reporting**: Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.- **Environmental Training**: Conduct training sessions to educate employees about environmental policies, regulations, and best practices.- **Hazardous Materials Management**: Manage the storage, disposal, and documentation of hazardous materials to ensure safety and compliance.- **Environmental Incident Response**: Coordinate responses to environmental incidents, such as spills or leaks, and ensure appropriate reporting and remediation.- **Collaboration with Stakeholders**: Work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and environmental consultants to promote environmental compliance and sustainability.- **Continuous Improvement**: Monitor environmental trends and developments, recommending changes to policies and procedures to enhance environmental performance.- **Documentation and Recordkeeping**: Maintain accurate records of environmental assessments, compliance activities, and sustainability initiatives.Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.- Professional certification such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or equivalent is preferred.- Proven experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or environmental engineering.- Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Proficiency in environmental software and tools for data analysis and reporting.**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 12 monthsPay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Performance bonus
