Environmental Officer

**Role & Responsibilities**- Implement of the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy, management and operating procedures.- Assist and provide technical advice to Project Manager in identifying potential environmental aspect and impact in each section of work areas.- To be a representative under the terms of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007- Identify the requirements and suitable location for the environmental protection system and ensure it is constructed prior to the related activity.- To monitor that all the environmental protection elements installed are fully functioning and proper maintained- Ensure the sampling of the environmental parameters (water, air, noise, etc.) are carried out as schedule- Prepare monthly, quarterly Environmental Management Report (EMR) and submission to Client and DOE wherever is appropriate.- To ensure all registry in accordance to the IMS and legal requirements are in place.- Prepare the QHSE Monthly Summary Report.- Ensure the EMCP is updated.- Attend the client meeting or as required by Project Manager.- To ensure all requirements of EIA, EMP/PEP is being implemented on site and compliance to the legal and other requirements- Prepare for EMS audit from SIRIM/JKR/DOE/third party audit (quarterly)- Conduct tool box, environmental meeting and related environment training awareness for site personnel.- Assist Project Manager in promoting, educating and creating a sustainable environment work culture- Responsible to liaise with Client, Environment Consultant or Authorities related Environmental Issues**Qualification & Requirements**- Degree Engineering in Environmental or equivalent- With a minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in the environmental field & Schedule Waste Management- Able to liaise with clients, consultants and authoritiesSchedule:- Monday to Friday
