Event Sales Manager

**Responsibilities**:- To maximize conference and banqueting revenue and profit through pro-active selling techniques and pricing strategy- Respond to sales inquiries on timely manner from potential clients and customers seeking meeting space, annual dinner, conference, ceremony, food and beverage services.- Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and goals- Analyse business markets and design sales strategy & set goals to execute.- Oversee sales and event department for daily operation and activities.- Oversee event costing such as part timers recruitments, equipment for maintenance, meeting amenities and daily expenses in premises.- Evaluate and improve sales and financial performance**Job Requirements**- At least 2 years of working experience in the related filed is required for this position.- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English- Excellent convincing abilities, good communication skills, sales and negotiation skills- A team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
