Events Manager

Responsibilities: Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy. Negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business and to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.  Conduct site inspection as required and maximize up-selling opportunities whenever possible.  Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel business. Follow revenue guidelines to facilitate and deliver efficient sales responses.  Work directly with the organizers on their event programs and requirements in order to provide professional advice to facilitate and assist on their planning.  Requirements: 3 years working experience within customer service or sales and administration. Professionalism and outstanding people relation skills. Excellent communication and self-motivation skills. Innovative thinking. Comply with all local regulations (if any) Maintain highest standards of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude towards associates, guests/customers, suppliers and other clients.
