Job Purpose:The corporate planning department is tasked with developing and executing strategies in line with the organization's overarching goals. By analyzing internal and external factors, it identifies key insights to guide decision-making processes and adapt to changing environments. Ultimately, the department aims to ensure long-term sustainability and growth through strategic planning and resource allocation.Responsibilities:Assist in the analysis to identify organizational effectiveness, strengths and weaknesses and carry out research on external environment to assess trends, opportunities, and risks, to provide input and advise on the organization strategy and growth initiativesContribute in the areas of idea generation and exploration of value-creating strategies and initiatives, while ensuring alignment between corporate and business unit goalsAssist in performance management analysis to identify financial and operational gaps (actual vs. target), with input on the mitigation plans, and subsequently prepare management report on monthly/quarterly basis. Assist in preparing scenario planning and stress testing to ensure feasibility and viability of corporate plans, and to identify potential issues and challengesAssist in executing financial modeling, forecasting the organization's future financial performanceAssist in preparation of Strategy presentation, communication, reports, Board Papers, etc., with eloquent storyline and accurate information and narrativesAssist in the planning and running of events hosted by Strategy division such as town halls, management retreat, Board retreat, etc.Any other responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.Qualification:Bachelor's degree in finance, business, administration, or a similar discipline, as well as prior corporate planning/strategy experience. Professional certification in accounting/finance (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CFA) is a plusPrior experience in corporate planning/strategy/finance role, preferably in real estate/property development industry, is a plusStrong business acumen, number savvy, analytical mind with ability to articulate strategic plans through data visualizationExcellent stakeholder management skills, with high level of awareness of industry updatesHighly motivated, persistent and strong work ethic Self-starter, with critical thinking skills and capable of making prompt and effective decisionsAttention to detail, while maintaining an in-depth vision of overarching goalsStrong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills Positive personality with strong sense of teamwork
