Details of the offer

Responsible to set kitchen par stock level and ordering of food supplies from Central Kitchen and Vendors. Must use Food Market Hub for ordering/purchasing purposes.- To be responsible for the preparation of cooked food according to the quality, presentation and standard operating procedure- Must be familiar with ingredients for cooking, knowledge of portioning, chopping and storing of food- Ensure that the team follows food safety processes when cleaning and washing raw materials- Responsible for inventory checking and recording of raw materials and cooked food- Responsible for receiving and checking quality of raw materials received from suppliers and that the quantities and prices received are in accordance to the invoices- Responsible for training new kitchen team members in accordance with the company's standard operating procedure- Responsible to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area including tables, tools and equipment and also the restaurant premises- Responsible to track and update the equipment maintenance log. To inform Management when it is due for service/repairs- Responsible to organise and set the kitchen team's duty roster and respective roles- Track and report wastages to the Management team- Ensure that kitchen team follows all company policies and procedures- Report any potential Safety Hazard(s) to your Supervisor- Perform any other task required by your Supervisor, as and when required**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: Up to RM2,600.00 per month**Benefits**:- Meal allowance- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Afternoon shift- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Performance bonus- TipsCOVID-19 considerations:- All work stations have been provided with hand saniters**Experience**:- Kitchen management: 1 year (preferred)- Kitchen: 3 years (preferred)
