Location Full job description Job Description: Responsible for assessing the facility's resource requirements, designing and optimizing the facility's layout and critical operational systems, and overseeing the maintenance of infrastructure and equipment. Develop and implement utility plans, perform system evaluations, and establish operational efficiency. Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards. Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies. Determining facility and equipment specifications. Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets. Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls. Manage and supervise facility maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors. Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements. Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards. Preparing reports and compliance documentation and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, as well as expenses. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations. Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability and implement solutions as appropriate. Work with other departments to identify and prioritize facility-related projects and allocate resources accordingly. Ensure that all facilities are equipped with necessary safety equipment and that staff is trained to use it. Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed. Develop and enhance Maintenance strategy, PM Work list and Spare part management. Control on budgets, timescales, and specifications. To maintain and modify equipments to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient. Work with Company vendors and supervise subcontractors during various maintenance projects to ensure proper completion of work. Deliver SOP for repetitive engineering task and technical documentation to standardize best practices across. Ensures planned maintenance are effectively executed, and the systems are following Authority regulations, as well as the relevant Engineering Standards and Safety Standards. Record & analyse environmental and facility monitoring data, including cleanroom environment. Implement corrective and preventive action when any abnormalities occur. Lead technician and maintenance team for electrical safety awareness/ prevention. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of related experience. Excellent project management skills. Well-versed in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and have previous project management expertise. Ability to understand and have analytical skill to troubleshoot. Ability to plan, supervise, lead and prepare proper documentation. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Have knowledge in ISO 9001 will be an added advantage. Sound knowledge to understand and troubleshoot wiring and electrical system up to 415V. Knowledgeable and ability to supervise the Maintenance of building electrical and mechanical system; HVAC & chiller system FCU, lightings, wiring, kitchen system, firefighting system, CMMS, BMS. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Fluency in English and Malay, both written and verbal, is required. Additional language skills would be an advantage. Able to adapt quickly to changes in daily work plans and unplanned issues without compromising safety. Willing to work in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.
