Fashion Designer Merchandiser

**Responsibilities**:- Liaise with suppliers local and overseas samples, production schedule and capacity booking, delivery timing in an accurate and timely manner for all styles and seasons to meet launching date.- Work within the framework set out by the Head of Brand as to the trends, colours and designs planned for the forthcoming season.- Design, sourcing, research, plan and develop merchandise for every season- Arrange purchasing of fabrics for seasonal use- Control costing to meet the planned retail price of the design- Perform review for merchandise developed- Constantly monitor brands' merchandise performance- Manage the flow of samples coming in and out of the office- To provide administrative support for the design & merchandising team- Any other task as and when assigned**Requirements**:- Minimum Diploma in Fashion/Textile Design, Graphic Design or equivalent- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity- Good negotiation and follow-up skills- Ability to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (incumbent is required to liaise with business partners in China).- Analytical and detail-oriented
