We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in designing, installing, and maintaining our clients' fiber optic networks.**Responsibilities**:- Conduct site surveys to assess building infrastructure and propose optimal cable installation solutions.- Prepare comprehensive survey reports and technical proposals for building fiberization projects.- Develop Gantt charts to monitor project timelines and ensure efficient execution.- Secure Permit To Work (PTW) forms from building management for project commencement.- Collaborate with building management and safety officers to initiate cabling work.- Oversee external cable installation into building manholes and MDFs in collaboration with the Infrastructure team.- Supervise contractors to ensure cable installation adheres to industry standards and best practices.- Terminate and test cables using OTDR and power meters, ensuring they are ready for connectivity.- Install patch cords, CPEs, or switches within customer server rooms and perform service activation.- Conduct end-to-end bandwidth and link tests for circuits, liaising with the Network Provisioning team.- Support service termination, equipment dismantling, and collection upon request.- Provide field-based technical support to the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Network Engineering team as needed.**Qualifications**:- Diploma or Degree in Telecommunication, Computer Networking, Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a field technician role or similar environment.- Strong understanding of fiber optic cabling and network infrastructure.- Proficient in cable termination and testing techniques using OTDR and power meters.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Valid Malaysian driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.**Benefits**:- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects.- Continuous learning and development opportunities.- Be part of a dynamic and growing team.**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Parental leaveSchedule:- Fixed shiftSupplemental pay types:- Commission pay- Overtime pay
