Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.- Draft and revise company policies.- Oversee and assist in the management of all corporate, financial, and accounting operations such as accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and tax planning.- Ensure statutory compliance, including audit taxation, GST, internal control, and any other business governance requirements.- Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses.- Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk.- Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed.- Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation.- Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals, requirements and skills.- Advise management on the company's compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.- Regularly audit company procedures, practices and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.- Ensure all employees are educated in the latest regulations and processes.**Job Requirements**- Minimum Degree in law, finance, business administration or any related field.- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the related field.- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager.- Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is a plus.- Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or AML).- Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards.- Experienced in manufacturing accounting, commercial accounting, costing and corporate tax is an added advantage.- Able to work with minimum supervision, as well as able to contribute to learn development.- People and results oriented and committed with a strong sense of urgency.- Excellent in communication skills and proficient in various languages will be an added advantage.- Integrity and professional ethics.- Business acumen, teamwork skills and attention to details.**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Additional leave- Free parking- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Early shift- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Overtime payApplication Question(s):- Notice Period- Expected Salary**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Compliance Officer: 2 years (preferred)- legal requirements and controls: 2 years (preferred)Ability to Commute:- Glenmarie Industrial Park (preferred)
