What you need to know:

Purpose of the role:

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance & Accounts, she is responsible for carrying out day-to-day operational tasks in relation to USGAAP reporting, investment portfolio, tax reporting and assist in IFRS 17 implementation in accordance with Company policies, procedures, professional standards, best practices and regulatory guidelines for Company.

Accountabilities for the role:

To assist in annual and quarterly submission of USGAAP reporting, including manual schedules and reports for management review. To handle tax reporting for both local and USGAAP reporting. The job functions include liaising with local tax agent primarily on preparation of annual tax returns and other required submissions by the local tax authorities and preparation of quarterly USGAAP tax reporting with supervision of Regional Tax Manager. To handle investment deliverables for both local and USGAAP. Preparation of daily investment trade submission to Clearwater Team in Trade Blotter Template and perform daily investment reconciliations. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and Financial Statement schedules both interim and final disclosure. Preparation of yearly investment budget for internal review Preparation of month-end general ledger book for investment transactions. Preparation of monthly and quarterly analytics due to Bank Negara and global investment team. Preparation of quarterly reporting for Investment Committee Meeting held. Perform month-end Balance Sheet Reconciliation. Respond to ad hoc queries from asset management team, treasury and Regional Investment To assist in the implementation of IFRS 17 project including data mapping and system reconciliation between SAP and IFRS 17 ledger. To perform daily and monthly reconciliation of Front-end data (ie : SDI) with backend Finance system (ie : Computron)

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 1 – 2 years of years’ experience in related field Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
