About the role:As the Finance Executive, you support the finance function by assisting the Finance & Admin Manager on the day-to-day coordination and processing of Finance and Administration operational tasks for the Company.You have the ability to think strategically and execute brilliantly. You have good organizational skills and attention to detail. You are comfortable with IT and accounting systems and strive to achieve efficiency in business administration and reporting. You communicate clearly to internal and external stakeholders and are responsible for direct client updates around all finance and administration matters. You will ensure that the Company's professional standards are never compromised. To this end, you will ensure that systems and procedures are maintained, and that the Company operates to the highest level of compliance, quality, efficiency, client service and professionalism.Other key responsibilities:Support Account Receivables process which includes issuing invoices, managing receivables ensuring on time and in full payment and assessing risk to avoid bad debt.Support Account Payables process which includes managing payment cycles, maintaining healthy cash flow, and ensuring a positive reputation for the Company of being a diligent 'pay-master'.Support the Taxation and Statutory Audit compliance process and management for the Company (and each subsidiary) and ensure all Company filing deadlines are known and met.Manage a simple and logical filling system for all administrative documentation both digitally and hard copy (where required).Support in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management Accounts for the Finance & Admin Manager to review.Assist on the implementation of improvement efforts around business reporting and performance metrics. Manage work permit applications and terminations for foreign employees.Manage and maintain employee data in the internal Human Resources system to ensure records are always up to date. To be successful, you will have:1+ years of finance experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; bonus points for startup experience.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Experienced in managing multiple tasks whilst adhering to strict deadlines and ensuring compliance to standards..
