Job Details Job Title: FINANCE - SENIOR EXECUTIVE/EXECUTIVE Department: FINANCE Closing Date: 31-MAY-2024 Job Description 1.Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.2.Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, property tax, and any other applicable taxes.3.Tax Planning: Assist in developing tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position and minimize tax liabilities.4. Research: Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.5.Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date tax records, documentation, and supporting schedules.6.Audit Support: Provide support during tax audits, including gathering relevant documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.7.Communication: Communicate with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and tax authorities as necessary to address tax-related issues and inquiries.8.Advisory: Provide tax-related advice and guidance to internal departments on business transactions, investments, and other activities.9. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.10. Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax related process.11.Confidentiality: Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.12. Other Support: Support ad-hoc requirements from direct superior. Requirements Minimum bachelor?s degree in taxation, finance or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years? experience in tax matters preferably in tax advisory / consultancy.Proven work experience as a Tax Manager.Candidate with professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA / ICAEW will be of added advantage.
