Great that you're thinking about a career with BSI!Job descriptionLocated: BSI Service Malaysia Kuala LumpurJob Title: Financial Analyst (ASEAN)Reporting directly to Finance Director (ASEAN), working closely with 6 ASEAN Countries Finance Director and MDs and ASEAN key stakeholders within the applicable divisions. The role is also responsible for collaboration with the APAC FP&A team.Detail Job Scope:Provide monthly commentary on financial results. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected changes. Challenge month-end performance and work with the division to address gaps or initiate improvements.Work with financial systems and data integrity teams to improve quality of information.Support the annual Financial Plan & Forecast cycle through the development of reporting & presentation templates, analysis of submissions and reporting to the Divisional leads.Provide sound business insight on data analysis.Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.Undertake market analysis and research to support business models.Identify Risks/Opportunities and provide plans/ideas to mitigate them.Analyse complex financial information to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.Prepare presentations material for monthly & ad-hoc management meetings.Preparing GHG (Green House Gas) report with stakeholdersQualification:Preferred 3 to 4 years work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, business analysis and management accounting work for Multinational Companies.User experience of accounting systems, SAP is preferred and EPM (added advantage)MS Office Skill i.e. Excel (Advance or Intermediate), Word, Power pointProficient in business analytical skills and Excel modellingComputer literate with ability to use or learn SAP, Salesforce, Tableau and Power BIAny ad-hoc reporting, activities and projects in addition to the aboveEducation: University graduate or equivalentOur Excellence Behaviours: Client-centric, Agile, Collaborative.
