Financial Controller/Plant Controller (Ipoh)

Job description About our ClientThey are a Manufacturing company based in Ipoh with a demonstrated history running some of the most successful Manufacturing businesses in Malaysia. They are currently expanding and are looking for a Financial Controller and Plant Controller to join their esteemed team. Both positions are similar in nature and would be based in Ipoh to handle 2 business units.ResponsibilitiesYour role will report to the CFO of the business and the Plant General Manager on a dotted line basis. There will be a lean team for you to manage as you oversee finance operations related to the manufacturing plant. As the business is growing and expanding in line with market demand for its product, you will also assist the senior leadership team on strategic planning, financial business simulations and financial modelling. This role presents exciting opportunity to also be involved in feasibility studies from new product offerings, its costing and pricing. You will also ensure compliance and internal controls is adequate and in line with group reporting.Skills and Experience RequiredTo be shortlisted for this role, you will need 10-15 years experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least a Degree in Finance, Accounting or professional qualifications such as ICAEW, ACCA, CPA etc. Candidates with MICPA and MIA would also be considered. It is crucial to have strong experience in Manufacturing industry and exposure working with senior stakeholders across different divisions. There will be added advantages for candidates skilled in presentation, with strong communication skill and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
