Job Description

- To assistEngineering Manager/ Maintenance Supervisor to execute maintenance works and project works according to schedule.
- To execute mechanical maintenance for Plant machinery equipment including installation, retrofitting, lubrication, inspection, breakdown repair etc.
- To maintain and repairplant machinery and equipment to operational standards.
- To fits and assembles metal parts and sub-assemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment.
- To carry out regular machinery maintenance works and routine inspection throughout the plant.
- Responsible to lay out, fit, welding and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms such as ducts, in accordance with engineering drawing and specification.
- To maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- To perform 5S and Housekeeping on worksite and workshop.

Qualifications

- Possess at least SPM/STPM/Professional Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Welding, Industrial, Mechanical, Metal Fabrication/ Tool & Die/ Welding) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field, preferably with structural steel fitting skills.
- Working experience in facility and maintenance environment.
- Positive attitude and manage to lead a team in executing project.
- This position is based in Lumut, Perak
