Role & Responsibilities Leading General Trade (GT) team in achieving group sales target Assisting team in sales target, customers' inquiries, collection and other sales-related issues Come out with a business strategy, evaluate current business performance, maximizing business reach and potential. Explore and open new distribution market and accounts within Malaysia Identify business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients/distributors. Negotiating business contracts and closing deals Follow up new business opportunities Conduct and coordinate market research / opportunity assessment, compiling the information and make recommendation to management Retain existing customers and renew contracts Building long term relationships with existing dealers and distributors Identify opportunities for greater profits Submit reports and representing GT group in HOD Handle ad hoc tasks and special projects as been assigned Requirements Previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in the general trade sector. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Result-oriented with a track record of setting and achieving sales targets. Preferably from FMCG background, with an understanding of industry dynamics and market trends. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends to make informed decisions. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, events etc
