The team has the following focus areas:
Information management: Effective management and organisation of the information being channelled through our systems drives understanding, consistency, visibility and reliability which is essential in a business growing in complexity
Operation Transformation: New insights most often will need to be complemented with updated Systems and Processes. This transformation activity will enable operations to work more efficiently and improve operational effectiveness
Data-driven business insights: empower decision makers with data analytics using advanced analytics technics such as deep learning, regression solutions or correlations studies and visualisation tools to easily communicate ideas and results
System & Dashboard development: changing need of the business require us to develop and implement new systems and provide visualization through dashboard development.
About the role
We’re seeking a full stack engineer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures that’s always pushing boundaries. Here, you will take complete, end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack. Our ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back end languages. Your primary focus will be the development of the business application, definition, documenting and the maintenance of central database, and to ensure the application runs with high performance and responsiveness. Implementation of security and data protection features emerge with Dyson global security requirements. Identify and connect data sources across the organisation via web development; provide source data for analysts; facilitate the strategy of web application development roadmap (systems, software, processes, IT infrastructure, technologies and opportunities). You’ll be joining a small team working at the forefront of new technology, solving the challenges that impact both the front end and back end architecture, and ultimately, deliver amazing global user experiences.
As we will integrate more and more business system applications via web development activity, it is critical for the individual to have both backend and frontend development experience to optimise seamless connectivity with stakeholder to drive initiative effectively from a business perspective.
This role is based in Johor Bahru but will most likely require some travel to our office in Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify business needs
Gather user requirements, analyse data, understand current systems and identify business best practices
Support the translation of business needs into front and back end requirements
Recommend web development approaches
Development
Discuss technical design for complex requests with team members to obtain optimum web application
Responsible for both front-end and back-end development of the company’s website
Develop and implement proof web and Mobile applications
Write clean, well-designed code using OOP and proper SDLC protocols
Develop re-useable codes following standard software architecture principles
Develop mobile-responsive website applications
Build new features and fix bugs, optimizing the website for maximum speed and scalability
Integrate graphic/web designer to implement UI/UX features and optimize website interactivity
Security & Audit
Implementation of security and data protection features
Link with IT security/ Legal/ IM teams to audit and deliver compliant solutions
Personal Development & Support
Research and keep plugged into emerging technologies while applying them into operations and development
Support the development of the team for hard and soft skills
About you
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science / Software engineering
More than 7 years of experience in software development, with atleast 5 years as full stack developer.
Demonstrated skills and use of tools in the following areas
Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines and builds out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
Experience with ETL and well-versed with Microsoft Flow.
Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.

Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
Designs data integrations and data quality framework and evaluates open source and vendor tools for data lineage.

Experienced in working with Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, Microsoft Access and large relational database and SQL Programming
Strong knowledge of Programming Node.js ,Asp.net MVC ,IIS Web server administration , active directory authentication management ,OAuth 2.0 ,Single Sign-on ,RESTful APIs , XML , JSON , Json.Net , XML , TypeScript , AngularJs,4,5 CSS , Bootstraps , Java Script and Python.
Strong in Software development lifecycle.
Developing back end website applications, front-end website architecture and designing user interactions on web pages.Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
Designing and developing APIs.
User interface design based on UX research, A/B testing
Fundamentals of design, layout and typography.
Understanding accessibility and security compliance , user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
The ideal candidate will have strong hybrid web & mobile development skills, experience taking mockups and turning them into standards compliant mobile applications and achieving cross-platform compatibility.
Fundamentals of data analysis and visualization
Able to write create iOS application / Android and publish in apple store or Google play
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Advantageous skills
Experience in Tableau and Microsoft Apps development e.g. PowerBI, PowerApps, Azure.
UX methodology
Web Charting , highcharts , chartJs , D3.js and similar data visualization library
Artful design background
Working with open-source APIs and data sets
Comfortable using SVN & Git for version control
Responsiveness for multiple screen size
Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch
