Logistic Clerk / Officer

**Key role and responsibilities**:- Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations, including scheduling shipments and managing transportation logistics.- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to ensure adequate supply of materials and finished products.- Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations and standards related to transportation and logistics.- Manage the documentation and record-keeping of all logistics activities.- Work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of goods.- Provide regular reports on logistics performance, including on-time delivery, cost savings, and efficiency improvements.- Work with other departments, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in logistics operations.- Source new suppliers for better quality, payment terms and price.- Identify competitive suppliers with better terms and condition to meet company needs.**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,200.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Monday to Friday- On callSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Batu Pahat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Logistic operations: 2 years (preferred)**Language**:- Bahasa Melayu, English / Mandarin (preferred)Willingness to travel:- 25% (preferred)
