As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe.
As the Leader of the Customer Design Enablement (CDE) Design Automation team in Intel Foundry Service (IFS), you will lead our automation team to provide differentiated, scalable solutions which improve ease of use for both internal and external customer engagements. This will include defining the project goals and strategies, assigning resources, and providing guidance to a global team which develops and maintains the infrastructure and tools needed for PDK, Foundational IP, EDA certification, Test Chip services, EDA Flow Development and design execution support. Your team will develop, maintain, and enhance a full range of solutions from analog modeling, simulation, to SOC Implementation and verification. This will require close collaboration with EDA vendors, along with internal cross functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience leading a Global Design Automation Team.
Experience with Digital Design / Analog Design Tool Flows Methodology.
Experience with advanced process nodes, PDK and IP Collaterals.
CAD Flow automation and Infrastructure development Experience.
Experience with Standard cell library architecture and characterization methodologies.
Experience with evaluation and selection of EDA tools and software to meet our organization's needs.
Experience with development and implementation of automation strategies to align with organization's needs.
Proven track record in flow/methodology development around 'ease of use' metric.

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors / Master's/ PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
20+ years of experience in CAD and/or EDA tool support/development with Synopsys and Cadence Tools.
10+ years of experience managing teams including employee development.
Background in programming such as: Skill, TCL, Perl, Python
