**Job Title: Research Assistant - Molecular Epidemiology of Dengue in South East Asia****Primary Responsibilities**:- Assist the primary investigator in conducting systematic and meta-analysis research on the molecular epidemiology of dengue in South East Asia.- Extract and compile data from literature search results, including scientific databases, journals, and other relevant sources.- Perform data cleaning, organization, and management tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness of datasets.- Assist in conducting statistical analysis using appropriate software (e.g., RevMan, STATA, SPSS) to analyze extracted data for meta-analysis.- Collaborate with the primary investigator and other team members to interpret research findings and prepare manuscripts for publication.- Assist in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and grant proposals related to the project.**Qualifications**:- Degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Virology or a related field.- Prior experience in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses, particularly in epidemiology or infectious diseases research.- Proficiency in data extraction techniques and experience working with large datasets.- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of statistical methods commonly used in epidemiological research.- Familiarity with statistical software such as RevMan, STATA, or SPSS.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present research findings clearly and concisely.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary research team.- Knowledge of dengue virus and molecular epidemiology concepts is preferred but not required.- Demonstrated commitment to research excellence and professional development in the field of epidemiology.**Additional Information**:- This is a full-time position based at NIH, Setia Alam.- Working hour: 8am to 5 pm.
